  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) Kaadu (or is it Kaadus?) (...) I really hope it isn't 'any new element introduced in a SW set'...the 2x4 extremely low slopes were originally SW, no? Here's hoping the Jedi hoods aren't included either, or the tan and grey hairpieces...or the (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

I'd say the cockpit pieces, plus the laser cannons could be used in other lego themes (the cockpits would probably have to have a different paint job, though.) I think pieces like Boba's hlmet/backpack, Jar Jar's head and the Eopies from the Gungan (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) What exactly is a "Star Wars element" though? I find that one very hard to define... So what happens if TLC uses the cockpit pieces in a non-SW related model? (...) I dont think its the coolest thing Lego could of done, but I don’t think you’re taking into account that EVERY star wars element Lego produces is the Intellectual Property of Lucasfilms and can never be used in another Lego theme. I personally (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

(...) Hmmm, I wonder if (to get this back "on topic" for .starwars) if TLG can't acquire a license to "F Troop"...or maybe to "Glory" (but then they'd have to handle race in minifigs, wouldn't they?). Idle speculation, and naturally it's got zero (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) Indeed. I think it was very poorly done. I thought the helmet could have several uses, but they saved a nice chunk of change on producing one mold instead of two (For instance, the plant I worked at, the car parts molds ran from 100,000USD to (...) (...) I was also wondering how they'd handle that one, without Lucas throwing a fit. We'll just have to wait until Ep II to see... (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I, too was dismayed by this turn of the Juniorisation knife. Though I did like their solution to what he looks like under his helmet. *smirk* -Cheese (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)
