Re: Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) Star Wars Mini-Land Figure

(...) Thanks, Lenny! They are loads of fun! The best thing about building models of organic things is the way they take on personalities of their own. Plus, they can be photographed in scenes with other characters as more get built, so there's (...) (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) Star Wars Mini-Land Figure

(...) Feh. Now you've got me back on my I-wanna-build-Hammerhead kick. I hopped up from my chair, ran over to my action figure shelves, picked up the 1996 release, thought to myself, "Yeah, I could probably figure out something to make him"...and (...) (...) I'm not sure what's wrong with the main site, but www.fbtbforums.net is still up. There are a couple of posts about the outage. -Joel (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars)

Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) Star Wars Mini-Land Figure

With all the extra chocolate I've been eating recently (the Easter Bunny is always very good to me!), I was in a "brown" kind of mood. So, I thought I'd finally take a crack at Hammerhead. Since he didn't do very much in the Cantina scene, I wasn't (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

Re: DS Imperial Docking Bay Details

(...) Thanks! Those two ISD's were actually last minute additions. I don't know of any dioramas that exist using that kind of perspective using the ships. But I've done one before using Hasbro AT-ATs. (URL) AC (20 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: DS Imperial Docking Bay Details

Hey AC, Nicely done. I especially like the picture where you can see two ISD's flying by--playing with scales like that to imply perspective. Hmm, have you seen any dioramas that use system scale X-wings and TIEs in combination with mini versions to (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  a small AT-AT

My latest (and greatest, so far) is now online: a small AT-AT. It's at roughly the same scale as the 4486 Snowspeeder and AT-ST. Check it out: (URL) Dan Efran Martian Ambassador (URL) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Star Destroyer MOC

(...) The new gray looks bad compared to the old gray, when one is trying for a model that has an all-new uniformed color look. But think of models of large older vessels that's been around for a few hull-patches and repaints... :) I don't mind the (...) (20 years ago, 27-Mar-04, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Star Destroyer MOC

(...) Yes, I used some new gray. Looks awful, doesn't it? My digital camera seems to exaggerate the difference - it doesn't look as bad in person as it does in that last photo. In dim lighting, I can barely tell the difference between the colors. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Star Destroyer MOC

(...) Am I right in thinking that this is built using a mix of old and new grey pieces? It sure looks that way in the last photo. If so, I wonder if this is the first MOC posted on Lugnet that uses both shades of grey together? (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Star Destroyer MOC

(...) Dan, this is a neat little MOC - whats even better is the great job you did Photoshoping the pictures, especially the ones as the ISD overtakes the RBR. Great stuff! -Lenny (21 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.starwars)
