  Re: BT1 meets Star Wars

(...) Awesome. I love the landing platform too. I've seen a few people build in BT1 before but I love the combination of star wars and BT. The only way to make it sweeter is to make more of them. Pat"no sig fig" Bunn (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) S-w-e-e-t! BT1 is by far my most favorite theme. And you have done an excellant job! /\/\ark "gotta make me a BT1 StarDestroyer" de Kock (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  BT1 meets Star Wars

Why are these guys smiling? (URL) after almost 20 years they're glad to have something new - even if it is reverse engineered:) Comments appreciated, roger (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) I think the truth is that Ryan will discover the same thing that many others have. It is very difficult to re-sell anything made out of LEGO for a profit. I could see your beef if he took one of your designs verbatim, LDRAW-ed up an (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) I'm only replying to this portion of the post because this contains my whole point. I have no problem whatsoever with him copying or rebuilding one of my designs for his OWN enjoyment. I have seen his Gunstar on brickshelf before and was (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) Wait a minute. You copied the design of the Gunstar in the first place. Maybe Mr Schamp should pay a royalty to whoever designed the Gunstar in the first place? :-) It's a copy of a copy. Steve (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) I know this will probably get me stuffed into an airlock and ejected from the mother ship, but chill out, dude! First of all, this doesn't look like somebody who is trying to profit from anything. He's selling off his toys to recoup some of (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

My wife and I are buying a house and she wants us to sell our indulgences. So I am selling my Lego collection, and I was wondering how much interest there is in the Lego community to buy MOC of the Gunstar from The Last Starfighter. Here are some (...)   Interesting question...

Now that we are seing more "custom" parts being made (for example the Starwars weapons, the Castle accessories and the Train wheels), it raises an important question... are these "Lego"? For example, if I use them, am I no-longer a purist? Does (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle, lugnet.cad)

  Re: MOC: Rancor

Nice Bruce! Overall I like the form, especially how you dotted the back with dark grey instead of all brown. However, the mouth look too wide and the corner teeth should be longer then the ones in the middle - IMHO. I know this might be terrible to (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.starwars)
