  The Alphabet Project Strikes Back!

The T-wing has finally been finished and I've completely redone the Alphabet section on FBTB: (URL) I'll have the R-wing done soon. Tell me what you think!   Downsized DSMs

Check out our latest MOC from our (URL). (URL) As much fun, time and effort have been spent on the DSMs, their time has come to go. Even though they're stored individually, they still take up a lot of space. Plus the amount of bricks that I can use (...)   Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) Allister, Yes the color layout was the hard part, so I hope I came close enough to be recognizable. Wow! Shows you what a fresh pair of eyes will do for you. I never noticed those fairings before you pointed it out. But they are kinda ugly, I (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) Gil, thanks for the kudos! The multiple slopes of the craft were hard enough without the stripes, but fortunately I had recently acquired the RoboBots and Flyers designer sets, and had a great deal of will to finish this before someone else (...)   Re: Official: UCS Snowspeeder and *New* Millennium Falcon

(...) Nope, it's just a speeder on a stand in a glass case. No boxes or any identifying numbers. (...) not grey, and the windows might be blue instead of grey. I'm not sure if I'm going get chance to sneak a camera in-store for another week. Dan (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) This is a neat little job, Aaron. It's difficult to coach a 'hunched' shape out of the brick, yet you've done a great job of it here. The colour scheme is unique too...in a good way, of course. Another fine example of how a smaller MOC can (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Darth Vader Buste

(...) Great models. I like em very much. Now I need a Stormtrooper as well. Anyone know a good source of white bricks? (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) A brave attempt at a difficult colour layout, and you more or less pulled it off. Well done. You seem to have missed the extra little wing protrusions over the front thrusters though. I admire people that buck the trend. I for one would love (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Official: UCS Snowspeeder and *New* Millennium Falcon

(...) Hi Dan, Did you happen to see a set number for it? Does it look like this prototype from LEGO Magazine? (link posted on FBTB by guybrush) (URL) D. (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Awesome. I didn't buy the Darth Maul bust, but if this were a set I would buy it. Bruce (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) I didn't see this over at FBTB... but you have to keep in mind the age group over there; bigger usually means better. Or anything by certain builders. ;) It's a really cool MOC, and a good representation of the real thing. But yeah, I don't (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) Jonathon, Thanks man. Yea, no one seems to like the original but me. Oh well! It's all mine! The nose was quite simple really, just hinged the same way the original JSF wings were hinged. And it is fairly swoosable, as long as you don't bump (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) Bruce, that means a lot coming from you. I noticed in the FBTB forums that this design is getting the thumbs down. The stripes do make it a little silly looking, especially for angry Anakin, but it definately captures the gradual change from (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Official: UCS Snowspeeder and *New* Millennium Falcon

(...) I think the Lando, Fett, and platform are from the Cloud City set - after all, the MF appears to be an extension of this. BTW: I've seen the UCS Snowspeeder (it's in the new LEGO store in Birmingham, UK, in a glass cabinet), and it's looks (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

(...) Aaron, Nice job. I'm not too much a fan of the ship, but you really got the feel of it. Keep it up! (2 URLs) (Bruce) (URL) LEGO @ Bruce's Homepage> (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)
