I had already made a Boba Fett, but thought it was time to give him a makeover. (...) I agree partially. I really like new sets. Does it seem like they stop producing successful sets too soon? I think so. (...) I think they're trying to keep the signature ships available. Future Star Wars LEGO fan growth is limited if you can't get certain sets. As to why a redesign instead of a re-release? I just want to say that I will be buying the new Millennium Falcon set, the new X-Wing, and the original Falcon, which I still haven't gotten. The reason is that the two new ones are redesigned sets, not re-released sets . . . that's not the same (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
