  Re: MOC: Y-Wing Starfighter

Thanks for the comments, guys. Jason- I thought the use of battle droid arms was a pretty nifty feature myself, but unfortunately I forgot about it by the time I got around to posting it. Hence the lack of flaunting ;). Bruce- I was using blue (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Interview and K-Wing

(...) That K-wing looks vaugly like the Starfury fighter from Babylon 5. Overall, I like it. (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Ask and thou shalt receive: Ben's minipod

(...) I've gotten quite a lot of dkred pieces from various SW sets, but none of those yet, I don't think. Wait, did the Republic Gunship have them? .. nevermind, if that's it. I suggested a Chrysler Building on build.arch, and it was built. And now (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Ask and thou shalt receive: Ben's minipod

I couldn't resist the urge to build something tiny (thanks for the inspiration, Joel and Greg). Here's Ben Quadrinaros' 4 engine pod in mini form. Enjoy! (URL) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.starwars) !

  Re: New Hailfire droid

(...) And if you look at it, there are channels in the rim that keep the wheel rolling nice and smooth. Mammoth turntables, or mech joints... Mark (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)

Re: MINI Gasgano's Pod - MOC

(...) Neither of those pods is the best one, though. The guy (Quadrinaros or somesuch) with four engines has the best pod. I'd love to see a mini of that. mmm. -Greg "Fox" Cook (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: MINI Gasgano's Pod - MOC

(...) Aldar Beedo and Mawhonic, I think. Lovely design there. I notice that most people who've done micro-fig scale in the past though have made theirs even smaller than these official ones. Jason J Railton (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) - There seems to be a new 1 x 2 + 1 x 2 hinge, look at the dark gray/light gray thingies that hold the bottom side panel. /Tobbe (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) Okay, so I'm wrong about animal skeletons. The equivalent for mammals then is for you to get down on all fours and walk on knuckles and tiptoes, with your knees facing forward and your elbows facing backward. Nevertheless, the AT-AT doesn't (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Hailfire droid

<<snip>> (...) According to this site: (URL) will cost $99.98 so one would be $49.99 suggested retail. I'd like to make some MOC's with those wheels *if* the inner rim really is in the standard gear mesh - but it sure looks like that is the case! (...)   Re: New Hailfire droid

(...) Interesting, allright! I'm thinking, Supersize turntables, here we come!!! (you can see, on the right hand rear support, that a 14t gear is used to drive the wheel (or maybe the wheel drives it...) (...) Same thought I got when I looked at the (...)   Re: New Hailfire droid

(...) I saw this picture the other day, but I didn't look all that closely and didn't realise it was technic scale. Those wheels are fairly large, although the actual size is difficult to guage from that angle. (...) Actually if you look at the (...)   New Hailfire droid

Hi- I am still a bit dazed and stunned by a revelation about the new hailfire droid: look at this picture here, before you read the message: (URL) this is the cause of my shock and amazement: This model has the largest part ever made in lego!   Re: New Mini's!

(...) It's gonna be wayyyy too big compared to the X-Wing unfortunately. -Greg "Fox" Cook (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Mini's!

And the AT-AT has a Y-Wing Cockpit, and the Gunship has a Y-Wing "middle". So I guess if you buy all four you would have a very nice big mini Y-Wing. Mark (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: MINI Gasgano's Pod - MOC

(...) The TIE Mini wasn't only available to US residents. In fact, it was easier to get them in Europe, as they were available in magazines at newstands there, not here. You couldn't get them that way here. :::still hoping SW Insider doesn't forget (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)
