  Re: Lando and Mace

(...) I wouldn't count on the NBA minifigs setting any precedent. Note that the "street basketball" figs are in standard yellow. The collectors sets are of real people (and not actors portraying a fictional character). For those we have brown and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: My impressions of the Imperial Star Destroyer Model ( some "spoilers")

(...) snip I think I will consider the sorting of the pieces as well. Normally I work with a big pile of pieces. Although with that many pieces I could get burried! Cheers Felix (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando and Mace

As I sit here slightly addled from the evening's festivities (check the date and hour), I have to wonder how this bit of news is not THEE item of hot discussion. I can't believe that TLC finally conceded that mini-yellow is/was not meant to (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: LEGO AT-AT and Hailfire Droid (Smaller links)

(...) I think that would be totally in order. We need to see some snowtroops besides in an AT-AT. It would be really cruel of Lego to make them available only through a very large set. I would also like them to make a rebel Taun-Taun with rider and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What's the big deal about the Mini TIE?

(...) Hehe, I remember seeing that. I thought "Wow, what a lame set!" But still, business is business. Kind of sneaky, yet funny. ~Evan Butzlaff (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

(...) The only things on the ship that aren't perfectly mirrored are the detail 10x1 plates around the large trench, and the 10x2 detail plates on the tower. And those are only assymmetrical because they themselves are mirror images from the left to (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

(...) Yes, I noticed that error. I had to refer to another picture of the bridge on the box to see if they were supposed to be flush or 1 stud away, and they were supposed to be flush. (...) Probably so. Or at least, I hope so. Otherwise you got (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars)

Re: My impressions of the Imperial Star Destroyer Model ( some "spoilers")

(...) Great summary of the experience of building the ISD, Bryan. I ended up spending around 17 hours myself, but only over a span of 2 days (26th and 27th). It was hard on the thumbs, but well worth it. Just a couple of things: (snip) (...) Myself, (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

(...) I must agree with Matt. I enjoyed the original review overall, but I have "flown" the ISD around by removing the tower sections and using the internal frame as a handle as well, and I have never had a single plate or greeblie fall off. We're (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO AT-AT and Hailfire Droid (Smaller links)

It looks like two Snow troopers and 1 AT/At driver with the grey outfit. Yahoo- I hope they make some storyteller sets with a Hoth Invasion kit. Maybe three Snowtroopers, Darth Vader and a E-Web cannon. Thx, Shotgnz (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

My impressions of the Imperial Star Destroyer Model ( some "spoilers")

During the week of Christmas I had a 9-day vacation from work. Along with spending time with my family, and playing a good chunk of Metroid Prime, I wanted to use the time to build my Star Destroyer. I decided that instead of trying to build it all (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

New SW set sightings in COS

I recently located several of the new SW sets here in Colorado Springs, at the new "super Target" on Powers. The following sets were available: 4475 Jabba's Message 4476 Jabba's Prize 4477 T-16 Skyhopper 4484 X-Wing and TIE Advance (MINI) 4485 (...)   Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

(...) Agreed wholeheartedly, as I opened the box and removed the instructions I found that just travelling to my house had caused a severe rip in the spine. There was a rip on the front cover in the bottom left hand corner. However, after assembly, (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

One other point I forgot to mention in my original review ... The massive instruction book (228 A3 pages) is too heavy for its style of binding and the covers quickly detached from the rest of the book as I started to turn through the pages. And (...)   Re: Lando and Mace

(...) Interesting observations, I must agree. I was able to pick up 3562 and 3563 at WalMart today. They had all of them except 3565 (with Paul Pierce) They were in a box at the base of the display, I'm not sure whether they were supposed to be (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)
