Re: Christmas 2002 SW releases speculation

(...) Also, could you e-mail me, Mr. Garrison? I'm not sure how to direct-reply and I would like to ask you a few questions about a B.S. in Mathematics. I'm 17 and would like some information about majoring in math before I apply. Thanks. (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Christmas 2002 SW releases speculation

(...) I totally agree. I've been working on my own version, but I can't get the shape right yet. Any suggestions? (...) One word: AWESOME! Or what if the set came with pieces to modify the AT-TE into an AT-AT? (...) I consider myself a huge SW buff, (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Christmas 2002 SW releases speculation

(...) The Lars home would (could) be terrific. I expect we'll see an AT-TE eventually (in the $50 bracket?), but probably, like the MTT, it will wait a year. What would be really cool is if it came with the instructions and additonal pieces to (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: BIG Shuttle update....

(...) can support lots of weight when used in large numbers. My original (smaller version) design used click hinges for both wing folding and shape. This time around, I used TLCs method for shaping the wing with the grey technic beams like 7166. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Geez...you could ride to work in that baby. Fantastically huge Matt...looks incredible. How is it hinged in such a way to allow the wings to remain vertical? Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: BIG Shuttle update....

(...) Thanks Brian! Swoosh it? Well, during modification, the vertical stab fell on the top of my foot (indescribable pain) so I think I'll remain satisfied with a static display =0) I couldn't guess the weight, but the majority of it is in the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: BIG Shuttle update....

Great Pics, Matt! My Shuttle is close in size and is pretty heavy, but yours, with it's thicker wings and reinforced features must weigh at least 30 percent more!Do you ever try to "swoosh" it?   Re: Cruiser

(...) Thanks for the kind words! The landing gear was one of the hardest parts actually, as far as getting it to look right folded up. As far as supporting it, the second leg might not be needed any more, since putting them at 90 degrees really (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)
