  FBTB@CII Lineup

I've put up the official page for the exhibit next month in Indianapolis - it will indeed be the largest public display of fan built Star Wars items ever, with contributions from Sullivan, Harshbarger, Fleskes, Kuester, Palmer, Sawaya and more.   Secret identity of clonetroopers-----revealed!

I was planning to do a series of postings on the secrets of Episode II discovered by me, but I got this tidbit this morning and it's too important to retain. CLONETROOPERS ARE CLONED FROM JANGO FETT!! Tune in later for more! Oh, and Episode II (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Cool Star Wars fan music video....

(...) Hey! Great stuff here! Yet another awesome star wars music video for my enjoyment! (can't get enough star wars!) Since this isn't exactly lego related, but all the same quite interesting, I have taken the liberty to set the FUT for (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: about the episode 2 sets, my thoughts as to what happened

The reason those sets were out on the floor was the same reason Wal-Mart is so successful. See, Wal-Mart can have lower prices on things because they have no inventory in the back. They have 99.9% of their products on the floor, so they can dedicate (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Jawa Sandcrawler '02

(...) I dunno-- I'm almost tempted to say that Star Trek could've hurt the sci-fi market for SW had it been first. First off, effects. One of the HUGE things SW did was the great effects. Chances are ST would've had the same cheezy effects that (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Jawa Sandcrawler '02

(...) I doubt this would have been true mostly because ST the Motion Picture was just a little to slow. It was closer to 2001 ASO then it was SW. SW had blasters firing and a much faster script. Plus ST tries to base in self in some sort of "future (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: In line for Episode 2 Already? Sheesh!

Several TRU's are gonna have the Midnight Madness when Episode II toys come out. Check out www.theforce.net and look under Collecting. They have a list of all participating TRU locations. BTW. I'm more excited about the new Lego's on April 23rd than (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Jawa Sandcrawler '02

(...) I believe that most sci-fi after Star Wars used Lucases own special effects production company, ILM, to do the effects in their movies. Before this, most studios did cheesy effects 'in house' (2001 being a noteable exception, those were pretty (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)
