Re: 2002 set list on FBTB!

I am concerned about the piece counts of the "Story Tellers" sets. Come on, 23 and 29 pieces for $7 each! (Final Duel sets) What can they possible make in this number of pieces? So, Darth Vader is 7 pc The Emperor is 6 pc that leaves 16 pc for the (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: 2002 set list on FBTB!

I'm looking forward to the Yoda scupture. I just found some homebrewed instructions/parts list on the 'net for the Target version and was thinking of collecting the pieces to do it. But if they are going to release it as a set, I'd rather get that. (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I'm willing to bet the canopy will be two of the old airplane windshields (this piece: (URL) ) back to back in trans-dark gray. :) Jeff (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 set list on FBTB!

(...) What worries me is that the cloud car is only $9.99 aned 117 pieces which means about 50 pieces per half. I was hoping for the set to have two minifigures and be priced around $15-20. I hope the actual product doesn't come as an undetailed (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: 2002 set list on FBTB!

(...) My guess is no. This will be the last batch of Ep 1 sets, IMO, and I think there are still other vehicles and locations from SW and ESB that they haven't made. (...) My guess is that they'll use the thin wall wedge piece (like the front of the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

And thanks to Tim for making that pact with Satan or whomever that lets him get such nifty information. ;) Well, it looks like it's only going to be $7 to get stormtroopers and Imperial officers now, instead of $50+ to get one of (...)   Re: US S@H Specials, Sep 12 - Sep 18, 2001

(...) I once got a randomly inserted mail-in card in a set that was good for a free gift. The gift I got (and that I heard other people received) was a cowboy keychain. Maybe you sent one of those cards in and forgot about it? :) John #388 (23 years ago, 18-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)
