Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers

(...) The AT-AT Commanders look the same as the Star Destroyer Officers *except* that they are wearing a armor breastplate unique to them, and a blast helmet similar to the one worn by the AT-ST Drivers. Also they carry a loaded side-arm in a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) That sounds like a very good rationalization. :^) What if you combined the white Stormtrooper helmet with another torso? I'm having trouble thinking of a good torso to use at the moment, but it's a thought. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers

I've madethis point to Dave before, but I'll air it in the open as well. I use the Tie Fighter pilots in my AT-AT, and I can justify it to myself, at least ;) The AT-AT drivers we see in ESB are in gray and white - but, one can also see that the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Small Scale Slave One

Now that is one of the best smaller-than-mini-fig-scale models I have ever seen! Being a major Boba Fett fan, I am definitely going to have to "borrow" your ideas here ^_^ The only real complaint I have is that the tail (trunk of the elephants head, (...) (...) Checking the Behind The Magic CD the AT-AT drivers are white/grey with the same helmets as TIE pilots in white/grey, the AT-AT commander (eg. General Veers in EP5) wear's black/dark grey with open fronted helmet. Dan (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Custom fig idea- snow troopers

(...) Well.... yeah. I was actually thinking more of the helmets being basically the same. It's been a while since I last watched Ep5, so I wouldn't begin to claim I have the colors right. I just knew that white didn't seem quite right for the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

I've posted a list of 12 sets tonight that I've received verification on as no longer being in production from LEGO - you might want to pick up what you can while it lasts, just an FYI . . . Tim (URL) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Kinda like the "black box" in set 4561, the Railway Express? Except the black box is only sort of hidden -- it's meant to be exposable, but if one didn't know it was there, one wouldn't look for it. Steve (24 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)
