Well, does anyone remember the "gun" pieces that came with the old Space sets? Those would have been PERFECT Star Wars blasters. You can kind of see the mini-fig holding it in this pic (URL) is a great picture of what I am talking about, the top (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) While I agree that we should've gotten some blasters, we didn't *JUST* get "the old megaphone piece." We also got some really nifty lightsabers. (...) Excellent B-Wing! I think that's how LEGO should have made theirs. The one they released is a bit flimsy, and yours has the sturdiness present that makes it look like a hefty starfighter. I also like the intake vents and the mass o' stuff in (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)
