Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) Do you mean, a solid Tauntaun like the Kadu, or a bricks Tauntaun? Bricks are better... There are also very nice SW models in the Orlando LIC . Hoth stuff like the big "satellite" dishes and the power generator. And cool stuff like Death Star (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) Kaadu (...) I (...) I was at Mall of America today and stopped by the Lego display. They have a Star Wars one up with a Tauntaun in it. Since every other model in the case was released (AT-ST, A-Wing, Falcon, etc. . .) I'm guessing it's going (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

snip (...) snip With that said, how about Darth Vader or Boba Fett in the 8000's. A Vader with a big cloth cape and long light saber would be pretty cool to say the least and Boba Fett with his gun, wookie braid and maybe even a missle firing (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) A 16inch speeder bike! How much detail?! That's got my vote! Now here's an idea I've been thinking about for a while; I'm sure you're all familiar with the Don Post Star Wars masks - well how about the same in Lego? They would basically be (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

Ronald, I'll build up a leg for you and take some pics. However, to give you some insight on the designs used on the model: 1. The pieces of the legs are perpendicular to the ground, that is the studs are facing to the side rather than to the top. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

Brian, That would be really awesome! The first thing I'll probably need that info for is an AT-AT walker... I really want to build one of those. Do you know of anyone who has posted DAT files for it? How about yours? Looks really good. Do the legs (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) Throw in a silver protocol droid, and I'm sold. Especially if it's chrome silver, not matte silver. Steve (...) A UCS Speederbike would be way cool, especially if was the same length as the UCS X-Wing. That'd be 2~3 times the scale of the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

I just got done sorting 50 of them. I love it, but there's a mighty heap of useless things after the plates and such. Maybe something good will come from fiddling with all those 200 brown banana slopes. My source had 200+ copies from a Kmart. (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) See the inventory at (URL), btw. There are about 5 pieces in this set that could be considered less than wonderful. OK, 9 pieces, if you don't care for the four 1x4 dark gray tiles printed with circuitry. So this set has about 55 brown, tan, (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: My Galactic Challenge Model

Ronald, Possibly there are some cad files out there with the design or something similar but wouldn't no where to look. Give me a little time and can rebuild one and post some pics of it if you like. Brian (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)
