how lego could fix the AT-ST

1.replace all parts that are in the "wrong" colors (tan, brown etc) with the correct color pieces 2.replace the inverted slope thingy with a 4 x 4 turntable so that the head could swivel and 3.include a stormtrooper fig These things could all be (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Where are the 2001 SW sets?

(...) The Alien Discovery Pack for $10.00 has the following sets in it: <set:7300> <set:7301> and <set:7311> One of the Wal-Marts here in Tucson, AZ had several last week. - Bob (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Where are the 2001 SW sets?

(...) True... I ran into that back when I collected the POTF action figures. Two days after shelling out $25 for a Leia, $12 for a Chewbacca and $8 for an R2-D2 at a local comic shop, I found them all at a Walmart for $5ea. That's when I learned to (...)   Re: Opinion on 2001 sets

(...) But at least we weren't given an ewok. (...) But at least we weren't given an ewok. (...) This is the major flaw of the model. IMO, the legs/feet are decent, and the head is quite good (except for the interior, which is really slapdash.) The (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Where are the 2001 SW sets?

(...) I'm relieved that I'm not the only person having this problem. I received a TRU gift-certificate for Christmas. I decided to go on a personal mission: I would visit at least one TRU per day until I found all of the 2001 SW sets. I naively (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Where are the 2001 SW sets?

(...) This could be an occurrence of "comic store owner" syndome, wherein every comic store owner in a 50 mile radius buys up new toys just in case they get valuable. But my WalMart is lame too. And Toys R Us And Target (Well, they had the D.E. and (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-ST (7127)

You could just buy a second ATST and take the light gray ones from either side of the face from one and put them together on the other. There are plenty of places to find that piece (assuming it's a 2x2x3 dark gray steep slope, as I don't have this (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-ST (7127)

Also, you can replace the tan knee-caps with gray inverse slopes from Anakin's Podracer. And some other tan & brown parts can be easily replaced (just bricks and plates). I still haven't found another good source to replace the dk.gray face piece, (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-ST (7127)

(...) Just stick a turntable where the 4x4 inverse slopey bit goes. Perfick. Steve 'I like the ATST' Burge (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  AT-ST (7127)

Well I finally found an AT-ST and I find myself agreeing with everyone else. It's a great parts set, but that's about it... It does actually look like an AT-ST if you view it from the back at the correct angle, but from any other angle it just looks (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)
