Astro Lift Co. entry for Paul Hartzog's non-violent space MOC contest. —Trevor Pruden
Hi, all! Wow, talk about me leaving this RIGHT to the last minute. Well it's May 5th, the last day to enter MOCs for the contest, and here is mine. I don't have the presentation of the Sight Hound contest entry, and my camera was giving me troubles, (...) (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.space)

That is one of the most novel ideas for a space ship I have ever seen, not to mention it's freaking hilarious! Gungan Spamcake! (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.space)

Hmmm... Killing innocent aliens just to process them into food... Very sick prospect... Not much different to what the Nazis did to Jewish people in WWII. Of course they didn't turn them into food, but used them for "experiments". I know that you (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) A very good point, Mladen! I think this would be better if we assumed that the guys really are processing dumb alien cattle. If a person eats pork or beef, then that person would understand that this is a regular, every day sort of business. I (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.space)

Hey Trevor, I'd like to place an order for 38 cases of Gungan Spam Cakes! Yum. I really like the concept. It's quite different. My sister worked on a fish processing ship in Alaska (making fake crab meat), so I can sort of relate... I guess. : | (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.space)

Thanks, Todd! :^) (...) Yeah, some turnoff was to be expected. But hey, at least one can't say that it's "unoriginal"! ;^) When I built this ship, the intent was not to create the idea that I support the concept of "mass killing innocent beings". No (...)
