Good point about the hands. Lego never does try to be realistic. Why
would an intersteller spaceship not have any enclosed spaces? Why do you
never see mess halls, bathrooms, or sleeping quarters on their spacecraft?
Anyways Lego understandably makes inaccuracies. How many average kids
really care how accurate a spaceship is, as long as it looks cool? Of
course, I must mention the question of why there would be a flamethrower on
Mars to begin with. Any vehicles would be made to resist extreme heat, and
there are other cheaper, more accurate, and less bulky weapons for mechs to
use. Back again to the "cool factor". Wonder why the names are knid of
mixed-up in relelation to the color and design of the two mechs.
I just wish Mars had more planes. It's kind of disappointing for a Space
theme to lack spacecraft. All in all though, I do think the Life On Mars
theme is pretty good. I wonder what a second release of them would be like?

| (...) Interesting. It DOES say life on Mars. Does this mean it's life on Mars before colonization? Notice, though, that all the human sets are rovers and other "harmless" machines. With the exception of the Mono Jet and the laser mounted on it. To (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.space)
