Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) I'll need to take a look at these tonight - whatis potentially neat about stereograms is that the scalee can be manipulated by changing the distance between cameras - the wider the gap the smaller the scale. i want to see pics done with a (...) --SNIP-- (...) Hi Joe, I've not forgotten you asked me to do that a while back. I've just been completely busy with other things. I even got a really cool povray macro that does proper stereo (as opposed to the slightly cheated stereo you get by (...) (18 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) That's really great! And being busy is something I completely understand - I can't say that I have relaxed:-) This thread brought up the use of vignettes for stereograms, which is another really neat possibilty. Looking forward to your pix! (...) (18 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) It's nice to see others working in the stereogram field. You may have missed this: (2 URLs) Also (URL) here.> I'm not sure about minifig scale spacing for the camera, but I shall do some experimentation. Jeffery, do you have a special lense (...) (...) Yeah - I think that would be cool, but I wouldn't know exactly how to do it. (...) Do be honest, that was just a coincidence - I just knew that that vig was somewhat popular, so I decided to make a stereogram of it. Ley, I like yours - I saw (...) (...) Hi Joe, A little figeye experiment (URL) view> I can't tell if it works since I can't make these things work but in theory it should be right (assuming a fig eye spacing of 2/3 brick width). Tim (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) Hey Tim, Looks great! I'm not completely clear on what you were trying to accomplish - but it looks like you were able to do it. I've tried the steriogram, and it's quite impressive. How would you replicate this in LDView? It doesn't have (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) LDView gives you the option of "Cross-eyed" viewing or "Parallel" viewing. The former (which is default) appears to be what you used, and is somewhat self-explanatory: to view the images in 3D, cross your eyes so that your right eye is focused (...) These are really cool. Lots of fun (...) Without my glasses I basically see in parallel. So these come very easy to me. One thing I've noticed, the small amount of white space between the photos makes the stereogram clearer (but requires more (...)
