  A little WH40k

Hi all, A little (URL) WH40k> to add some extra enthusiasm to BrikWars :-) (URL) Richard Still baldly going... (20 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  New Galactic Inquisition Mech.

Hello all. I just got around to posting a worm-geared mech I built for the Galactic Inquisition. There was an unfortunate disaster before I managed to take most of the pics, and now his leg joints don't work so well. Anyways, lots of worm gears and (...)   Re: New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

(...) Here are the instructions for the corridor bit: (URL) of course a fair bit more reinforced in the real model. If you don't need the strength, you could use 2x2 turntable plates and create a corridor that a minifig could walk through. I'm sure (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

(...) Very nice Bram! It immediately reminded me of Terry Keller's ULV-017 (URL). Rockin' suspension, nice lines, very practical-looking. The docking mechanism is a nice plus. BTW, was this (URL) a precursor of the moonbase phenom.? Anyway, this (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Blade Runner Police Spinner: version 2

As a HUGE Blade Runner/Syd Mead fan (and proud native of Los Angeles) I gotta say, that is REALLY COOL! I have a long list of LA-inspired MOCs I want to make, and probably 2 or 3 on the list (after FLW's Ennis-Brown house - another Blade Runner (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

(...) Bram, Way cool, I'm dying to see how exactly you did the articulations though. And it could use some action shots, with bug eyed Aliens. Thanks, George (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Blade Runner Police Spinner: version 2

(...) Boy, is it! The director's cut of Blade Runner is one of my favorite films (and Ridley Scott's last great work, IMO). I'm always delighted to see a good rendition of the police spinner, even when I can't track down (URL) the picture of it (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

(...) Thanks! Filling in the gaps left by those larger arches can be tricky...it would if the intermediate size existed. I always wish I had more of the big ones too (I ran out on this project). (...) No, they're just for show. (...) The moonbase (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) I can't take credit for the name...thank Tom McD and Jon Palmer for that. And yes, it does sound like a nice C-S name. --Bram (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

Sweet! The wheels/suspension are especially nice, but my favorite part is the name, which sounds like something Lego would have come up with. James Wilson Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

(...) (snip) That's really cool. I'm gonna have nightmares about all those curved pieces--I can barely get four of them to look good, and here you've raised an entire civilization of the things and they probably worship you as a god.   Re: Blade Runner Police Spinner: version 2

(...) I'm not familiar with Blade Runner, but I know nifty when I see it. That, sir, is nifty. The lights on the roof are a little messy-looking. I dunno if there's any way to fix it without sacrificing accuracy--what you have there is already (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Awesome. I love the segmentation / articulation. Nicely intricate and concealed suspension is inspiring -- Double wishbone concealed with regular parts. (20 years ago, 3-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  New MOC: Multi-Terrain Analyzer ACR-10

I finished this two weeks ago and finally got around to taking and editing all the photos.   Childhood Dreams Come True...Classic Space Homeworld Mod

I'm sure most of you swooshed your ships all over the house, and imagined them dodging through space, adventures aplenty. Well now, they really can have those adventures. (...) Hehe. I wish I could say I brilliantly thought "I'll find a piece that looks like something!", but my original design was actually two pieces--black binoculars on top of a blue "tooth" piece, both from #4881. But apparently nobody has bothered (...) (20 years ago, 2-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)
