Thank you for your compliments. I also do not like the color choices on the UCS
x-wing. For the life of me I cannot figure out why they chose to do that.
The person who got rich off my obsessive tile purchase is Lego themselves. Tiles
are one of my most numerous parts -- over 15,000 of various colors. About five
years ago (before I knew about bricklink) I called Lego direct and asked about
buying a large order of parts, the nice person on the phone said that they did
not do that -- so I asked to speak to a manager. At the time I was working for a
large well known publishing company and using that as a leveraging tool I was
able to convince the nice manager person to grant my request. I spent nearly
$900 dollars on tiles alone but now I have enough to tile my whole house -- if I
were so inclined.

| The one who supplies your plates is a very lucky (and rich) person. But, all that aside, this is a mighty fine model. You bring studless and snot to the extreme, and very pleasantly so. I disliked the randomly discolored parts on the UCS Xwing, but (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
