  Berlinetta

Hi all, Here is my attempt at making a space Ferrari. (URL) Click on the pic = folder post mod. This lil'car is only 18 studs long, and can seat 2 minifigs. A small (URL) allow the driver to take what ever is found handy. Dedicated to Tony Hafner! (...) (20 years ago, 25-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks Soren! I would be interested in your ideas / suggestions about the hood. I tryed one or 2 other designs, but was not happy with them. And I am not entirely satisfied with the exixsting one. But I'll keep the doors! Cheers, JP. (20 years ago, 25-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Berlinetta

(...) Love it! I was just watching Magnum PI last night and thinking what a riot a Magnum PI 3000 moc theme would be, centrepiece of course being a ferrari aircar. Too funny. What I love most about this is the use of the 'sandwiched SNOT' technic to (...) (20 years ago, 25-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Berlinetta

(...) Gil, very funny indeed! I started this MOC on last Sunday. And of course I thought about Magnum PI. I wanted to try and have Tom Selleck as staring minifig, but I couldn't find any torso with hawaïan shirt... I'm not sure it can be found. I'll (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks Aaron! I'll try to use a black hinge top. I used beige to match the printed tile. Next to the headlight brick are 2 1x1x1 red plates. I'll try with some black as well. Thanks for the ideas! Cheers, JP. (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Well, as Paul said, this MOC was the Subject of Discussion (hehe, SoD) at the last Melbourne get together, it's a really excellent hovercar. it's compact, it's racy, it's swooshable and most importantly it's red. I really like the control (...) (20 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)
