Those crazy engineers at FreiTek have come up with a heavily modified scout version of the E-Wing fighter, the RE-Wing. It measures in at 12 meters long (using 6 studs = 1 meter) with a wing span of 9 meters. It has two custom heavy thrust fusion engines, a class .5 hyperdrive, and extensive search and seek avionics.

Well I hope you all like it!

Questions, comments?

BTW: it is not 100% complete, there are still some finishing touches to do. Though, since I will not have any time to work on it for the next few months I figured I had better post it before something horrible happens -- like my cat trying to play with it.

(...) Fantastic shaping there. But you forgot to include a link to the gallery: (3 URLs) AndroDan>> Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

I'm not usually a fan of larger than minifig scale spacecraft, but this one is very nice. Lots of SNOT, lots of angles with seemless edges, and classic colors. The back of the craft, landing gear, and wing tip cannon designs are nicely done in Star (...) (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) From a technical/construction perspective I really like the model. I really like how you were able to make all the angles mate-up cleanly as well as the ablilty to skin the entire model in tiles. I also like how you implemented the cockpit (...) Well, It wasn't at all nice of you to tease us so long with pictures on Brickshelf, but I like the result very much: It's nice to see that you uphold the usual standard in your macrofig models even when trying to walk new paths. Such a nice model Bruce, I have been watching it on Brickshelf througout it's construction, one of the more interesting projects recently completed. Even though it doesn't exist as a real SW model,,, ;9 - Matthew (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)
