Re: Freighter and a Fast Car

(...) I gave up, sort of, on building freight for the freighter, so this MOC sort of seems incomplete to me (and everyuone else, I imagine). The truss parts were meant to hold pallets or containers or pellets or whatever. The engines are in the grey (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro-Future MOC: Serpent

(...) Haha, thanks. It is in fact almost all SNOT, and kinda weird crazy SNOT (even I fear it). I'll pull one of the sides off at our next meeting. (...) Thanks again, that's what I was trying for. Soren (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro-Future MOC: Serpent

(...) Heh, glad you picked up on that. I wasn't sure anyone would notice. (...) Indeed, very odd... (...) Actually I was thinking (URL) Outlaw Star> for this one. I had a lot of fun with the instruments, I'm hoping to use them again. (...) Well, it (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro-Future MOC: Serpent

(...) Thank you. (...) hmmm, I can see what you mean. I thought the engines looked more retro in this orientation, but if I do another one I might try that. Soren (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro-Future MOC: Serpent

(...) Thanks. I wasn't really up to a cool cheesy name, but next time, I promise :). (...) (URL) (...) I concede :). That's a lotta chrome. Soren (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

Oh wow, that is tottaly great! I like the way you built it and the concept made tangible is just too cool! Teriffic work. The vision is yours. I enjoyed looking through the gallery. Thank you for sharring. e (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: "Spartan" medium assault mecha

I like the size Mecha these joints lend themselves too. Your "experiments" are fun to see and have a recognizble style. Nice work. I really like the colors. e (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

The Monastery is awesome!!! The hatches, the hangar, the fighters, the Toilet Paper are all awesome additions to this oustanding MOC. However, as with some others I don't see the Monastery in this. Perhaps you could add some torches to the walls to (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Retro-Future MOC: Serpent

(...) I think it's the internal gravity well. You need something other than SNOT to hold that thing together. There just aren't enough studs in the world to make that structure conform... Love the cockpit too. The trans-green really seems to pull (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

(...) Dan, Wow, what a great idea, and you executed it so well. Watch out for Space Monks. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

(...) Oh man. I've always wanted to build an asteroid base. That deserves a Brammy. (URL) -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS-L.A.S.E.R.

Great model, Ryan! The contrast to your Jade Empire Hovertank is quite impressive. So much the same yet so much is different. The Sub-Sub-Theme of the Star Rangers is quite an interesting twist to the PCS theme. The angled hover engines on the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

Hi Dan, What a nice & neat idea! From floating rocks to fitting out an asteroid with a monastry, here is a way I wouldn't have found! This MOC really is the *perfect* addition to your theme. I am thinking "Name of the Rose" when I see it. A library, (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Freighter and a Fast Car

(...) Why aren't you pleased? I can't remember seeing anything remotely like it on Lugnet. The shape is unique, and the greebles are nice. I like your use of the droid cylindrical body in the ship's interior. I can only see two things that I wonder (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

Impressive! I really like the effect of the rough, organic asteroid combined with the smooth artificial monastery. In general these monks seem more benign than the rest of the Inquisition; perhaps in their secluded location they don't take part in (...) (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

(...) Your asteroid rocks. How many UCS Yodas' worth is it? The interior is nice and utilitarian. I love the anachrolicious barrel usage. And that hexagonal door! Genius. As for minifigs, how about a creepy cyborg monk with the hydronauts face? You (...) (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

(...) Dan, As has been said, this thing rocks! (Okay that wasn't said yet specifically and bad pun intended! ;-) Anyway, I think the smooth design of the architecture pitted against the rough organic form works well. All of the detailing is awesome (...) (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Freighter and a Fast Car

(...) Yeah, the toilet's next to the bed, but if you know a bout these things, then you'll kow that that is a vacuum toilet, so the odours and...stuff don't sit around for long. The next time you'll see 'em is in the next meal! Efficiency, man. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Welcome to the monastery my children.

(...) Sweet idea. Monasteries are cool as it is, asteroid-built monasteries are even better. I especially like the shape of the landing bay. The 'bell' tower is hot too. Good work, man. Roy (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
