  Re: Intermodal container handler

Very cool stuff. I was impressed with your design when I found this on brickshelf yesterday... -JSM (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Nacon - A Matrix Hovership

(...) Lenny, thanks. Anything that isn't a threat to my life for "stealing your color scheme" is high praise indeed. ;) Steal any and all ideas you want. Yay for Jade Empire. :) --Ryan W. (21 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Nacon - A Matrix Hovership

(...) You sir, are a genius. Your animals and furniture and fun little tidbits are all so cool and creative. Thanks again, oh and glad you're not pissed at a spacer stealing your ideas. :p --Ryan W. (21 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Paladin Hardsuit

(...) I agree with Chris. You may also want to cover those exposed studs, as they add to the unfinished quality. I really like the chest as it makes it look all big and tough. this mecha definately has some promise! -Lenny (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Colonial Marines Contest

I say wait a full month. Set it for the beginning of July, and make it into a Alien vs Predator contest, due to the proximity of the movie at that time. This way we can have Alien, Colonial Marine, and Predator [shh! project!] creations all in the (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Civilian MOCs

(...) Now these are nifty mocs. I like the Brainspeed's shape, especially with those huge braking/turning flaps. Really cool look to have them mounted on angle like that. As for the Fleebsterminator, this one put me in stitches. Awesome job with the (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Paladin Hardsuit

(...) Thanks! (...) Troy, that's a very nice start, but this moc looks unfinished to me. I really like the way you used chairs as shoulderpads. But the joints look pretty spindly. Perhaps if you used more pieces that were smaller, to add some bulk (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Colonial Marines Contest

Snip (...) Thats the beauty of it, In the comics, books, and misc. stuff every vehicle and item was not military, or even vaquely military related. In one of the Aliens games I played there was a truck kind of like modern day Army 2 1/2 ton trucks. (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Colonial Marines Contest

On 12:46 05/27/2004, Grand Admiral wrote (...) You could even do a "Civilian ship in the style of the Alien's universe"... maybe some nice corporate entries then :-) If you start it soon, then anyone going to BF2004 can bring their entries and we (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Colonial Marines Contest

(...) If you hold it, they will build. :) Just set up the contest, make up some rules, and announce it. I'm sure you'll get entries. I've seen plenty of Aliens based stuff on Brickshelf. Perhaps you could run it as an Aliens-inspired contest. (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
