Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Bob Hayes
I just saw the Cosmic Dancer on Brickshelf ((URL) and I love it! Who made it? The style is great. Bumps and bulges, but not over the top. I could see this thing making the Kessel Run. I reminds me of the ships in the Cam Kennedy ((URL) drawn Star (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) Parallel parking that thing would be a b!tch. But I agree that it's a cool shape, and it looks like it's got great 'playability' too. Derek (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) Yeah, there's a *bit* of a blind spot on the right side. (...) Thanks. Glad you like it. Patrick My stuff: (URL) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Avery Christy
I gotta agree, that is one sweet ship. The more I looked at it, the more I like it. First, it adds a whole new thinking in design. The bridge is midships and off to the side of the mainline of the "torso" of the ship. The outside is smooth and (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Patrick Burke
(...) Thanks, Avery! I don't know when i decided to put the bridge back towards the engines, it just didn't 'fit' near the front. The ship began as a tiny pencil drawing, I tried to stick to the simple shape that I'd sketched. Eric Harshbarger's (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Patrick Burke
(...) Me! Patrick. I haven't posted on Lugnet for about a year and a half - still lurk on occasion. I built the Cosmic Dancer (named for the T. Rex song) over a year ago, but I just got a digital camera so it was finally dusted off and photographed. (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Leonard Hoffman
(...) This is something that needs to change. Like now. Cosmic Dancer roolz! the ship is just so smooth and clean, like Mark said - this thing screams SPACE! -pulls out pocket watch, swings slowly in front of Pat's face- .. you must build and post (...)          Re: Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Bob Hayes
(...) Patrick, I really do like it. Half of the cargo area is just the shape I need to do a Lego version of a space ship that I modeled and rendered with POV-Ray years ago ((URL) I have wanted to build this ship for years, but I could not get the (...)         Re: Have You Seen the Cosmic Dancer? —Jon Palmer
(...) This is a good clean ship. I'm thinking the rear portion could be a little fancier, but other than that it's nice and solid. Lots to love. (URL) [ j o n ] (URL) zemi.net> (URL) moonbase> (URL) myspace> (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
