Re: New JE MOC: Irezumi Fighter

C-Mad, I think this is the best JE moc so far...there is so much to like about this one. It looks good from every angle, but the nose is especially erotic. I really dig the use of the dino-tails that Ryan encoprated in his moc, and also the power (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mars DVD solutions posted

(...) Not only that, but I owe geeks like you for informing me about the contest. Thank you, it was a lot of fun! I got a whole class of 3rd-6th graders started on code-breaking due to that contest <grin>... (...) Nope, and no chance on the Spirit (...)   Re: New JE MOC: Irezumi Fighter

(...) Really nice model, Chris. The shape of it is really appealing. I enjoy how organic-looking the JE stuff people are presenting is. The little zemi-bot on back is a nice addition too. I like the spamcake power-core detail, but placing such (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Coyote 4x4

(...) Thanks! I'm a child of the eighties: Top Gun, Transformers, G.I. Joe. . . no matter how non-serious I intend to make something, it always ends up looking sharp and pointy and mean. I guess that's good, but I'm still envious of those that can (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Coyote 4x4

(...) Thanks! I'm glad you like it. The playability of it is something that really appeals to me. I'm glad it's apparent. (2 URLs) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Coyote 4x4

(...) Yeah, steering would definitely make it more vroomable. I didn't want to complicate the construction too much—something like a system set. It's generally either suspension or steering. I can't think of one that has both. That, and I'm terrible (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS ROBRIQ

SNIP (...) i've crossposted this to microscale, because im sure they'll appreciate a microscale mech. so, how kind do you want me to be? i love the arms and if i had any skeletons im sure they'd be armless by now! Rob (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New JE MOC: Irezumi Fighter

Hey guys, I figured I'd been out of the loop for long enough and needed to throw some bricks together. Here's what I got: The Irezumi - Jade Empire Fighter (click the pic) (URL) My intent with this craft was to try to create a bit of middle ground (...)   Mars DVD solutions posted

If you're a geek like me who spent time solving the Mars Rover DVD, you'll be interested to know the (URL) Society> finally announced the solutions. I won't spoil the suspense for anyone, but you can find the answers at the Planetary Society's site. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: PCS ROBRIQ

(...) Without the round 1x1 brick or cone, they're very flexible. If you put a head on top of a 5-stud brick and put these arms on the sides, the guy can salute or even drink a cup of coffee. While the round pieces look very nice, I'd guess that (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: PCS ROBRIQ

(...) Schweet. Really cool feet/legs. I've been trying to figure out something similar for awhile - you're giving me some good ideas. And the arms are pretty nice - how much range of motion does that pull off? Slick. (URL) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Cowbots of Doomstone

I originally built these characters as denizens of a Moonbase Saloon Module I put together in 2002 (alas, that project met a cataclysmic end before any photos were taken). These hardy characters survived the Doomstone Saloon's destruction and (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.western, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: Coyote 4x4

(...) Really polished creation. There's something about your MOCs that is sharp and pointy and mean but strangely comfortable and familiar. Nevermind. What Giddens said. (URL) [ j o n ] (URL) zemi.net> (URL) moonbase> (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  PCS ROBRIQ

While much of the JUSTICE budget has gone to the Star Rangers to counter the constant EB/JE/TERRIBLE/3VIL/...EVIL/SHEEP threat, a portion of funds have gone to the civilian PCS sector.   Re: MOC: AVC-31 "Typhoon" Planetary Combat Aircraft

Hey Fred, excellent MOC! I especially like how you designed it to be very utilitarian and modular. It also reminds me of the UH-1 Huey helicopter; some of those pics look like glimpses into a futuristic Vietnam-type conflict. The weapons packages (...) Neat ship! It's got a different design than usual, with the old canopy and those bubble walls. The little fire extinguisher is a nice touch. -Stefan- (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Awesome MOC Phil... it's an open ended Lego model with thousands of possiblilities for play! It's Classic Space in it's mode and AFOL lego in its construction. I could see a youngin' takin this model and explorining the universe in it. it's so (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

MOC: AVC-31 "Typhoon" Planetary Combat Aircraft

G'day all- Here's a pic and link to my AVC-31 "Typhoon", a VTOL Planetary Combat Aircraft for attack and assault.   Re: Coyote 4x4

(...) That's a slick model there Phil. It kinda reminds me of my (URL) Wasteland> car, only much bigger, and with more playable features.
