  Re: PCS Troopers are GO!

(...) Admiral Giddens, How do you do it sir? What does it take for a PCS associate to take action such as myself? A post from yourself perhaps.   Re: zemi.net

(...) Well, that's because that is exactly what we did. Jon wanted small, square thumbs. Since they were so small we figured the distortion wouldn't be that bad, compared to simply clipping the image. (This is all automatic of course. So cropping on (...)   Re: PCS Troopers are GO!

Chris- This is yet another beautiful creation. The intricacies of the design are functional and elegant. I'm a huge fan of "modular" vehicles, and clearly, there are a multitude of opportunities available for this one. The greebling is (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: NBA Space Container Madness - Let the flames begin

Snippage (...) I remember seeing this when it first came out (very cool, by the way) and when I was playing around with the NBA container idea I started with the idea of using the 8x8x16 plates as sides as well. The problem was that with the sides (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Cheaper than that. The 8x8 version is part number 30492. On BrickLink, these seem to be going for for very little money. For less than $6, you can get nearly 200 of these in green: Parts / Sports Location: USA, Ships: Internationally, Minimum (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: NBA Space Container Madness - Let the flames begin

I hadn't noticed that on the 8x16's but I used 1x8 and 1x6 plates on the 8x8's to make attaching to the 8x8 field piece workable. I don't think a 1-plate high threshhold will annoy the moonbase denizens much : ) I'll try that on the 8x16's too. The (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: PCS Troopers are GO!

Wow, Admiral Giddens, this thing is awesome. I like all the details that have been pointed out so far. I really like the tailfin and its echo on the pilot pod: very 'Roman-Art-Deco'.
