  Re: MOC times three

(...) Oomph indeed. Steve, you are currently The King of X-Pods. Snazzy work! I really love how you made the "doors" hinge open. As neat as the little shuttle is, I don't get a huge sense of PCS about it. Changing the red parts to blue and maybe (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MOC times three

Here's another Xpod moc. The "ponypod" of pods, 2+2 seating and plenty of oomph to get around with. It's a double pod with hatches that actually open: (URL) And here we have a PCS shuttle for a Star Ranger project I'm working on: (URL) And here's (...)   Re: P-38 contest entry

(...) Excellent creations as usual. I really like you maintained the P-38 look yet put the main thrusters in the tail-plane rather than in the twin booms. I personally don't mind the way you did the landing gear. Seems entirely plausible for a (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: StarScoot

(...) Wow, thats an amazing amount of detail packed into such a little craft. Great use of the JSF canopy. I've come to the conclusion that the only effective way to use it is at an angle like that. I really like how there is really no studs-up in (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: The P-38 Theme Hoverbike

(...) Well, I think your entry is the most original so far. Cool idea. I also like the minifig verions of Paul Jr & Sr. So are the "propeller disks" functional or are they bits of metal that paulie tacked on to make it look cool :-) I really like (...)   Re: P-38 Entry: C--38 Cylon Lightning

(...) Ryan, Very cool ship. I really like the dark blue on light grey color scheme. I think that really sets off your design. The shape of the wings really evokes the cylon raider feel. I also like the look of the embedded starwars engine pieces in (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) The 1x2 tiles and bricks are still listing in huge quantities at reasonable prices on Bricklink (they both appear to have hit Pick-a-Brick in California). If it weren't for that, I might still be collecting water for the pool, but I managed to (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Varial Gyrofighter and Moonhopper

(...) Mmm .. beefy. (...) I do like the cockpit design use of hinges though. I might have to borrow that :-) (...) Spoomnus and Zognar. -Tom McD. (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Ugly Probe MOC

(...) Well, you should have seen it before I 'requisitioned' it from the Harry Pranksters and tidied it up a bit. I did take your advice to heart, thinking I'd get it tightened up further, but I need to screen my minions better. Sheesh! If you want (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Ka-95 "Sokolica" Assault Dropship

(...) *snicker* So, um, what exactly happens when you fire off each of the 16 multi-purpose rockets? *chuckle* I'm particularly interested to see what happens when you fire off the two in the lower inside corners... *guffaw* (You might want to (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dalek Tank

oh, and of course have Scott Lyttle tell you the story about the guy in the Dalek costume that was trying to get down the stair well at DRAGON CON. His foot peeked out from under the skirt at the top step, searching, the rest is well... I was (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dalek Tank

I got tears of laughter comming from my eyes! Baaaaahhhaaaaaaa - LOL! nay, ROTFLMAO!!!! First off, yep that's a mini-fig Dalek, fer sure. Nice! Then the Hover Tank!!!!! Then the Daleks come pouring out from the ship's hull. The control sticks (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dalek Tank

(...) Nice way to do a Dalek. I recently made one myself, though it's a bit too tall in relation to a minifig. I couldn't quite come up with a way to do the eyeball, but I may try your idea, as well as shortening the eyestalk too. Here's the link to (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: StarScoot

(...) Thanks! I have zoomed it around once or twice :) It started out as being a bit bigger, having everything I wanted, and I kept compressing it, seeing if I could keep all it had with less mass. Doing that, I had to reorient a few and swap out a (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Ka-95 "Sokolica" Assault Dropship

(...) Red ship + battle zone = easy target. Otherwise, this ship is pure eye candy. Lots of neat details and openy-shutty things give me lots to look at. Thanks. Cheers, Allister (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Ka-95 "Sokolica" Assault Dropship

(...) Wow! What a cool looking ship! I REALLY like the non-conventional shape and the vector thrusters...it's easy to see a few of these cricling a drop zone firing off their weapons. Great job! Joe Meno .Space Paparazzi! (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
