Re: Is it just me, or...

Is it just me, or is there a lot of activity lately? 8 space MOCs in announce.moc over the weekend, 65 posts to .space today. I think that it just goes to show that lulls such as the one that started this thread are cyclical and generally (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

In lugnet.space, Gil Shaw wrote: SNIP (...) Thanks-the Mech is my fav too; the torso was the second thing done after the head, and i thought about making it a transformer once i put the windshield & headlights on, but then i thought i'd just try for (...)   Re: Varial Gyrofighter and Moonhopper

(...) I really like this one. The dish sandwich in the back really does it for me. (...) Minimalist is cool. While it may not be clever or anything, it's still a neat little ship. It could easily be made into an official set and sell for about AU$15 (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) They've been available from the pick-a-prick selection in Legoland Windsor for a while now. They're fairly good value for filling up a cupful, if you have a use for them. (...)   Re: March CoLUG Meeting: Castle vs Space...

(...) Okay, I figured it was something like that. (...) Sweet. All I brought was a platoon, more or less, and you see how well it worked out. Robots-on-undead action should be pretty cool. Or at least overpoweringly cheesy. Soren (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) As I said, they didn't work out quite how I'd hoped, but it works well enough that the intent is instantly recognizable. And if located on the edge of a display, it can result in a self-replenishing "foam" effect, courtesy of jealous (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Bingo! Although I'm not sure if anyone has ever noticed the other half of the water joke on their own either. (...) Actually...not. And not for the reasons you mentioned. Our moon has settled into a 1:1 day/month cycle because of the tidal (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: EBKD Zhukov Class Assault Shuttle

(...) Thank you! (...) Actually, those are the four nuclear-tipped torpedos. I've been experimenting with non-traditional approaches to torpedos, and thought the proper Eastern Block approach would be to slap the missiles right onto the outside of (...) (...) might need to conceal the back half of it. Alternately, if you don't mind it being a little small, one of the new Racers (8384 Jungle Crasher) comes with a really cool looking black wire-fram version of the 4x4 triple-slope wedge piece.   Re: EBKD Zhukov Class Assault Shuttle

Lenny, I really like this one. Contrary to others' posts, I think the thick, sawtooth-edged fins work with the design. To me, it brings back memories of way-overbuilt Soviet aircraft. Like the designers discovered the fins weren't strong enough, so (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The P-38 Theme Hoverbike

Re: EBKD Zhukov Class Assault Shuttle
