  Re: The P-38 Theme Hoverbike

(...) If that doesn't win, there's no justice in this world. I think the standard hoverbike nose would benefit greatly by being flat instead of angled, but the rest of the design more than makes up for it. (22 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Colors...

(...) Jeff, My Color Tree may be of help: (URL) shows most of the known colors, grouped by color. The colors in the top row are linked to my Color Tree Roots page: (URL) gives a photo of each color, names on Bricklink, Peeron, and LDraw, and major (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back (with new MOCs)

(...) Thanks, Tom. I've always felt that playability is a critical objective in my designs. For example, if I built a mecha that looked good but could barely stand up, I'd go back to the drawing board. It tends to keep my mecha in the small to (...)   Re: The P-38 Theme Hoverbike

(...) Haha! Now that's just frikkin cool. I'm enjoying American HotRod much more right now tho. Maybe that's just because American Chopper is mostly reruns right now. Or maybe it's because I'm a total car nut. :\ --(URL) SteveR> (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  The P-38 Theme Hoverbike

Upon hearing of the P-38 contest in .space, the guys down at Moonbase County Hoverbikes deciced to pay homage and design a P-38 theme hoverbike. So after many nights of fabricating, building and an occasional arguement here and there, this was their (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: P-38 contest entry

(...) Although I find CS to be a great reference for anything space or over-the-top-aviation, it does stray into that "huh" area when it comes to physics and general rule-bending. When the first computer game came out a few years ago, the main point (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 3vil Chopper

(...) That's what it is! Many milliseconds of research went into this design. And for guessing correctly you win a pound of class 6 black star nucleus. The only catch is, you have to go get it.   Re: 3vil Chopper

(...) And so the fad has begun. Very nice use of pieces, especially on the engines. Rok! --(URL) SteveR> (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: P-38 contest entry

(...) Ya, but doesn't the Devastator (the first plane you fly with, at least in the demo) have mid or tip wing rudders (underneath) which also have landing gear in them? So it's not totally unreasonable(1). Besides maybe the wings are made of (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: P-38 contest entry

(...) Hey Dan, great fighter as always. What amazes me about your style is that it always looks so clean. There is something about your work that is 'essential' (meaning, of the essence) - it reminds me of 1950's style space fighters. Very good (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: HoverTrike?

(...) Hey Frank, This is awesome! It's the sort of thing I wouldn't imagine being used in the galactic centre, but in one of those planet way far out - like pioneers, etc. It doesn't look manufactured, but rather made - like some guy went to a junk (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Certainly is a fun moc! Reminds me of Adrian's pool on his Rigel 7 moonbase. I gotta love that pool! definately need to something like that in a moc of mine! Would love to see this in a moonbase layout - is very nice! -Lenny (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: StarScoot

(...) Very Gil Shaw-esque - I am really jealous of you people who can build small so well. this is just too cool. But if only you used a bit of red here and there, it would look so much better ;) -Lenny (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: 3vil Chopper

(...) Very nice space-bike. How did you do the engines? i dont quite know what piece that is, it looks like a ball pin stuck in a black minifig's head? Veddy nice. -Jr.Marshal (22 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  EBKD Zhukov Class Assault Shuttle

Step aside, kiddies, the BLOCK is BACK! (2 URLs) With the growing threat of 3vil, Dr.Terrible, the 3GA, and Space Hippies, the Jr.Marshalate recognized the need for a reasonably cheap, easy to produce a shuttle with long range capabilities and (...)   3vil Chopper

As you might have noticed, I've been away. The multi-system uprising in sector 459w required my attention. But not to worry, it has been squished. (URL) You may resume the fear and loathing.
