Thanks, BTW, we share an affinity for the same ship, the Motion Picture
Enterprise is still a fantastic vessel.
About the electronic Enterprise.
I must admit that I came pretty late to the whole Sci-Fi scene, only one of the
disadvantages of living in The Netherlands. There really is no big fanbase for
Science Fiction or Fantasy, so there aren't a lot of people who you can talk to
about it, ergo, the availability of SF/Fantasy toys was minor when I was a
little kid.
To cut a long story short, I had never even seen it, until now. Nice!!
Things are improving though and I now have most model kits that are out there.
(what I really want are accurate models of every ship that has ever been used in
every SF movie/tv show ever, incl. animation. All the same scale ofcourse, for
comparison. Like that's ever gonna happen!!! :-( )

Those nacelles are a lot harder to build than the ones I made, I've tried and
failed to create them to my liking.
Yours had blinking lights? How big were they?
I was thinking that one way to stop the droop, would be to build in counter
weights. The problem with that is, that you wouldn't so much build them as be
balancing them. Not recommendable for shwooshability.
Let's just say it's a work in progress.
