Re: My P-38 entry - not the Paparazzi-38:)

(...) Joe.. lets be honest here - "might"? no, you WILL build a Paparazzi "Nuclear Flash" 38 craft, and you WILL build a seamonkey p-38 craft. you will do this NOW! all kidding aside, this is a nice craft - fits the p38 design nicely, but also (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Lightning Mark XII - contest entry.

(...) Allister! I am very happy in seeing how this contest has been progressing towards the unusual and creative.. this craft is no except. The landing gear is especially nice. -eagerly awaits your next EB fighter- -Jr.Marshal H. (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: BIA - Blackron Intelligence Agency Preview

(...) You better bring it to Brickfest DC moonbase or we'll hunt you down and put you in the Space Police Lock-Up. [LEGOSet 6955] Awesome. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: F-38 Impulse

(...) snip (...) Wow, this is awesome! I especially like the way you did the canopy. the whole shape of the cockpit worked out rather ingeniously. I like the squareness, and the simplicity of the shape, I think it works really well with the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: BIA - Blackron Intelligence Agency Preview

(...) Hi Steve, I don't think the obelisk would have been much fun to build, however, I you have a good point about the rooftop landings. I don't know you well enough to know if the remark about hamster habitats was tongue in cheek or a put down, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

Re: BIA - Blackron Intelligence Agency Preview

(...) I think a Blacktron Intelligence agency building should be a completely black cube like office building. All the window's being mirrored smoked glass. A bit like the 2001 obelisk. All take off's and landings being via the rooftop landing (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

(...) Brickfest DC '04 is a great idea and I'd love to bring it out. Brian (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

Re: BIA - Blackron Intelligence Agency Preview

(...) Thank you for the kind words, I wasn't sure how this would be accepted since most of the time I just build things for my own enjoyment and don't post them. I put a moonbase corridor connection on the left hand side as viewed. This was built to (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

  Re: Pushy boy

Thanks Gil! Did you see the curves are also on the back of the pod? Power, power! You need power when you talk about tug, don't you? Basically one big engine and a pilote! Cheers, JP. (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Pushy boy

Thanks Tony! I came first with an other cockpit design, but it was too big regarding the engine size. The pod came very quickly, that's why I didn't really paid a lot of attention / details to the colors and so on. The octogonal ring of red light (...)   Re: New MOC: F-38 Impulse

Wow! Mostly impressive! Studless, as you say. This ship is a beauty! JP. (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: F-38 Impulse

(...) That is amazing! The engines are wonderfully massive, and the landing gear is great... the reveresd canopy is pretty snifty too. Working the "38" in is really amazing, but I'd like to see one of the intakes in all red for comparison. (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: BIA - Blackron Intelligence Agency Preview

(...) Nice model. I wonder if it qualifies for a world record as "the largest Blacktron model ever created"? :) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

Re: BIA - Blackron Intelligence Agency Preview

(...) WAY TO GO!!!! Wow, that is some serious Blacktron. It's like Blacktron habitrail on sterioids. Are you gonna keep it assembled for a few weeks? Is it Moonbase compliant? --Todd (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

  Re: Mirage

(...) Thanks. That "rugged" look was exactly what I was after. Hmmm, maybe I was subconsciously inspired by the A-10? (...) Yes, I started off making this ship as a sort of offshoot of the Nasal Avenger and Captain Ahnee stuff. I was going to call (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Mirage

(...) Yes, that's an ejection seat. In space it is useless. But if the craft has an emergency in atmosphere the pilot can eject and parachute to safety. (...) Those are stacked 1 x 2 plates in trans neon green. Behind them, inside the engine block, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
