  Re: Space MOC: Nebula-III

(...) Hey, Tony, thats really good! I like the overall shape and style of it. Simple flat... looks like a soap bar. :) The engines and greebles work well together, and I think that this is a very elegent little MOC. Nice work. Working on anything (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.space)

New creation from the twisted mind of Pat Bunn

This MOC does contain the January seed part at its core. My son has dubbed it the Robot King. (URL) RK is very posable with 2 axis rotation in the legs and Pincher arms that twist and raise and lower by the lance pieces sticking up on the back. (...)   Re: The Brickfest PDX Moonbase Build Up!

As of two days ago: (URL) Definitely not much there, but I keep plugging away at it. Buildings are a completely new project for me, and coupled with a general lack of good black pieces this is turning into one of my more challenging models. But (...)   Re: MOC: De Naald - the Needle

(...) Glad you like it! If you want to know...the body sides were constructed with hinge plates, pulled together using rubber bands. I used the same technique to pull the seperate tail fins together to a single one (at the end of the body). Cheers, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) thx! (...) Well, he did, a few times, for fun : ) Actually, The Prototype didn't even have a landing gear, it was fiddled in afterwards. Cheers Bas (22 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.space)

Has anybody successfully added an RCX to 7471 Mars Rover?

Ever since I picked up the 7471 Mars Rover a few months ago, I thought it screamed out for an RCX modification. I saw a lot of discussion about the possibility, but didn't find where anybody had actually successfully done it. Now that BrickFest PDX (...)   Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) Ah, my mistake. I can't recall any specific uses of that design that I've seen, but I'd still be surprised if it hasn't been used before by someone (flip it upside-down and it sounds like a neat idea for part of a nano-scale building).   Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) They do, but they spin freely in the sockets. I'd lean more towards using black friction pins (maybe with black axes to make them less obvious?) which will both grip on the inside of the hub and the axle handle. Er, they grip the axe a bit (...)
