  Re: Ice Planet Returns

First, as a fellow Ice Planet zealot, I must applaud your work in the Ice Planet theme. Very cool, no pun intended. . .well maybe a little one. Anyway, on to the critiques I dig the mammoth, the wheels are very creative and I love the double quarter (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: PNLTC festival of trees - LEGO in space

<snip> (...) <snip autosig> Lots of wire. Everything on the tree had to be wired to the tree for transportation to the winning bidders house (or wherever else they want it) The FoT is a really nice form factor for LEGO. Plus it gives a lot of LEGO (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.space)

Re: PNLTC festival of trees - LEGO in space

(...) Nice job Ben. It's cool to see the LEGO clubs around the country taking part in the various FoTs. I'm guessing it was quite a task to get that globe to sit steady on top of the tree. jt ---...--- James J. Trobaugh North Georgia LEGO Train Club (...)   PNLTC festival of trees - LEGO in space

Lots of christmas trees this year. Here is one with a twist - it has a LEGO space theme featuring sets from the LEGO Space/Discovery lineup. PNLTC also had a 25' x 13' layout at the festival. The tree features: a large LEGO globe as a tree topper a (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

(...) Hey Dan - I'm glad you like it! There is definitely much of the Gibralter (and Regent) in this one. Looking at your ships is what made me resolve to build big myself, and I've borrowed liberally from them. In fact, at one point I considered (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC capship - inspired by Bram Lambrecht

"diddesen" <diddesen@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:HpF4sw.1MCI@lugnet.com... (...) comments (...) To me, your stuff is so great because you're so willing to wrap your ships around very unconventional shapes. Although it's a seemingly simple thing (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: ...the RIFT has opened...

(...) Can't comment too much on the RPG aspect of it as it's not really my cuppa, but I have to laud the work you've put into it's conception. The Eagleclaw has a really nice shape to it....sorta like a beefy bird of prey. I have been toying with (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC capship - inspired by Bram Lambrecht

(...) As with your other ships Didier, you really do a great job of experimenting with new shapes...pushing the plates to long lengths to get a nice organic form. The circle/oval works really well here, especially with the temporal ship function. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

New MOC capship - inspired by Bram Lambrecht

Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

Great job, Paul! The Beagle definitely has a refreshing Classic Space meets Star Wars appeal to it. It kinda reminds me a bit of my Starship Gibraltar, but with a lot more details and features. You really loaded this model with goodies! I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Possible ship design?

(...) To be honest I haven't the faintest idea. My mother gave it and two others (uglier in my opinion, I've probably thrown them away by now) for me many, many moons ago. This ship always caught my fancy, so I guess that's why I hung on to it. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: ...the RIFT has opened...
