Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

Great job, Paul! The Beagle definitely has a refreshing Classic Space meets Star Wars appeal to it. It kinda reminds me a bit of my Starship Gibraltar, but with a lot more details and features. You really loaded this model with goodies! I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Possible ship design?

(...) To be honest I haven't the faintest idea. My mother gave it and two others (uglier in my opinion, I've probably thrown them away by now) for me many, many moons ago. This ship always caught my fancy, so I guess that's why I hung on to it. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: ...the RIFT has opened...

(...) Hi Nathan! I love how the sector site for this one includes MOCs (presumably NPC vessels and such that you plan to have as possible encounters within your sector).   Possible ship design?

I was giving one of my organizers a much-needed organizing and came across this little ship from long ago: (URL) always did like the design. It's approx. 42mm wide at the rear and 15mm high. Cockpit 10mm wide, 10mm tall. The rear rudders/stabilizers (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

(...) Nice variant Mark...the colour scheme is exactly what Air Canada's eastern business commuter lines (Attache Carrier) were...it's amazing. I love this design...it just makes me feel good. Cheers, -G (22 years ago, 4-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

(...) Classic Space is my all-time favorite theme. I'm currently tracking down the last few parts I need to complete several old sets. With the superstructure I was definitely going for a nautical look - glad you picked up on it. Thanks! - Paul (22 years ago, 4-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)
