Hey guys,
I’m back from my Alaska trip. I got a little homesick but it was spectacular in
any case. I arrived home about six hours ago. I’m glad I’m back home since I
don’t have to stop in a library to use a computer and I’m back with my Legos.
Not to mention that the RV I traveled in was dang small.
I saw many things on the way there, there, and on the way back. I would like to
tell you everything, but I’m just pretty much relaxing and I don’t want to break
my fingers on a report ‘cause it’s really long if I put it in text.
Here are just a few things I saw and did:
-Black Bears on teh road
-A herd of bison on the way up through BC
-Took a 8-hour bus tour and saw Dall Sheep, Bison, Elk, Caribou, Grizzlies, and
even a wolf that walked right by the bus
-Dog sled demonstration (in the middle of the summer!)
-Glaciers
-Puffins and many seabirds
-Seals (or is it sea otters? Or sea lions?)
-A calving glacier
-A one-family town consisting of a gas station, a shop as big as your cellar,
and an old cabin turned into merchandise store
There’s too many things to list, but nevertheless I had a great trip.
