  Matrix Weapon Tech

To my knowledge all we've seen is the EMP used in the first movie. There was also the laser thing that Tank used on Cypher, but I don't know if that sort of thing could be mounted on the exterior of the ship. I don't own the first movie, so I might (...)   Re: Minifig Scales

(...) I don't have any hard numbers, but the beam of an ISD isn't quite 2/3 the length. It is a lot wider than I'd originally thought, but it's closer to a 28:45 ratio, as can be seen (URL) here>. (...) The 5 mile long SSD is a mistake. In TESB, (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Minifig Scales

I did some calculating ((URL) of large space ships to see how big they'd be at minifig scale. I got some interesting results: A minifig scale Star Destroyer would be about 121 feet long and 97 feet wide (guessing that its width is 2/3 of it's (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

  BioniWars: 4-LOB

I'll let those of you who are real Star Wars fans figure out what the name stands for. You can even pretend the "B" stands for "Bricks", if you absolutely need to. (URL) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) Well, I think it's a far cry from the Dragonstar's interior, so that's a mighty compliment :-) I was definitely going for the submarine ethos, that overall impression. (...) They most certainly do. (...) Nope, the craft's physical design (and (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Light attack carrier

(...) I'll be posting some pics of all my variants of that vehicle type (my own mini-fad) in a couple of weeks. (...) Actually, it's only sheer luck that made me scan back and see these late replies. I had missed them completely at the time! (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: A new bot is born.

(...) Why thank you Mr. Palmer. Thanks again, making bots is pretty fun. I try to make the best or the worst better then before. Keep a look out for more bots. Dr. Terrible (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: F-2 Bat

(...) Philip, To mimic what Gil said, "This is a beautiful study in simplicity" = superb. I love the juxtaposed angles at the rear and those engines are a perfect fit. Space-y suavity. -ªþ§ (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

And I love the ideas of basements and the radar dishes. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
