    New MOC: Mephistopheles —Soren Roberts
Finally done! Sweet and sticky post-mod goodness: (URL) for that quick MOC whack: (URL) are more pics, I'm just lazy. Enjoy!) Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Sylvia Tresto
(...) snipped Wow! That's quite a ship Soren! It has a nice shape, with both clean, smooth parts and the technical looking greeblied parts. I'm still not sure about the front. It looks a bit too obtuse to me, but hey, that's just a minor point on a (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Soren Roberts
(...) Thank you! I was actually trying to make it ugly, the assumption being that pirates would use a heavily modified freighter or obsolete patrol boat as a starting point for an illegal warship. I think I went a little overboard, too. (...) A (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Ryan Wilhelm
(...) WoW....that rocks.... I am really liking all those turrets. The blovky shape also give it a militaristic-effect. *drools as he awaits the mod-ed folder* Ry out (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Mike Petrucelli
(...) Nice work. That is very cool. A couple of questions though. Is it mini-fig or nano scale? There are a couple things that suggest both. What is the "hole" in the back? Is that the main engine or something like a launch bay? -Mike Petrucelli (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Adrian Drake
(...) Considering it's got a full interior, I'd say it's likely minifig scale :) Nice ship, Soren. I like the fins around the tail end, and the greebling looks just right. Adrian (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Mike Petrucelli
(...) Yeah that's what I get for posting before all the pics were moderated. :-) (...) Obviously. I confused it with a nano-scale ship. (That a complement) -Mike Petrucelli (21 years ago, 27-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Chris Maddison
(...) yellow at first turned me off to this MOC, but as I was looking through the pics, it grew on me. It works for this'n. Also, nifty hardsuits at the tail end of the folder! -Chris (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Soren Roberts
(...) Thank you. I didn't have much yellow on it at first, but it gradually snuck on, bit after bit. glad ya like it. interiors are fun, as an exercise in packing detail into limited areas.         Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Keith Goldman
(...) standout, also the recessed, angled windows near the front. Excelent greeblage, and I especially liked all the inset areas. It was difficult to get a sense of scale on it (although clearly minifig), how long/wide is it? The only thing I didn't (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Mark Sandlin
(...) Ugly in a good way, I mean. :) Very worthy of being a pirate ship. It's all purpose and deadly bits. Love the greebles. It looks like you spent a lot of time making everything look very functional. Couple Questions: 1) What goes in the little (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Soren Roberts

Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Daniel Jassim
Very impressive! I dig all the great details. Very deep and functional looking. Overall, I think you did an excellent job. The exterior of the ship definitely has a gritty, industrial appeal.          Re: New MOC: Mephistopheles —Soren Roberts
(...) Thanks. (...) On the next one, I promise. I really didn't have the parts to make a smooth, aerodynamic vessel, and as soon as I can score a couple hundred plates, I'll give you curves to be envious of. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 30-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)
