    Unnamed Fighter —Tom McDonald
Here's a POV rendering of a ship I've built that seats two. For some reason it reminds me of the 481 Space Cruiser, but I'm not sure why. "Wishful thinking" is more than likely the reason :) cuz it's not classic space design or colors, it doesn't (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) 481???? (URL) meant 487, right?) (URL)"Wishful thinking" is more than likely the reason :) Yeah, the 487 is a great model, isn't it! (...) From the looks of your picture, your model is a bit smaller than the 487. The 487 is 30 studs long by 18 (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

The canopy extension can be found in the rescue van w/ cart (Dont know set number) in staraight black, and in the aquasharks submarine (The larger one that comes with a sammler base-like area) in neon red. I also think theres a newer set out that (...) (24 years ago, 27-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) There's one in the Slave 1 in trans grey. Heck yeah! Now all we need is a trans grey long canopy like the one in Tom's great model to go with it! Greg Majewski (URL) (24 years ago, 27-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Great ship Tom. I love the lines. It has a sort of "sports car" look to it, like it's built only for one purpose - getting the pilot to his destination in the shortest time possible. I like how the aft portion of the ship strongly hints at the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Don't you love it when people complement about stuff on your models that you didnt rlize you included/Didn't mean to include?      (...) I like your ship more than 487--your's for some reason looks more organic. (...) I like the white one best--works well with the green canopy.          Re: Unnamed Fighter —Tom McDonald
(...) Wow, thanks. Organic? That's a term I don't think anyone has used before when talking about my stuff (even when I've used tree and plant pieces :) "No pesticides were used during the building of this ship" :P But seriously, maybe I'll do one (...)    <snipped> Your ships look like a bigger, meaner, version of one I've had on the net for a while: (URL) Chislett (24 years ago, 27-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Unnamed Fighter —Tom McDonald
(...) effect, which has a "meanness" all its own. I'm not sure mine is "meaner", unless it's because the weapons on mine seem more visible. I suppose our ships' design was more or less inevitable. With that shuttle plate and steep- slope canopy, how (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)
