I decided to add another vehicle to my Future City vehicles line-up
(http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=26883). It should have been
an easy build but at first I had the driver in the middle, and had the
engine behind him. But whatever I tried just didn't look right. So I finally
had the idea of placing the driver on one side of the support and the engine
on the other side.

Rickshaw eh? I had an uncle by that name ;) A great addition to the lineup Jamie. The offset gives it that 'junky' look that suit it wonderfully. You could see one of these speeding down the laneways of Hong Kong, 2102. Any chance of all these (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

This is just too cool! I love the compactness of it and the junky look. The assymetry just adds to the appeal. And neat use of the ninja flags. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

I agree that is great addition to your creations. I would love to see a diorama or comic with your creations especially with the doubletake and used spaceship lot. -Semaj (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

You know, this reminds me of the movie the 5th Element with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovaich (sp?). The old flying junk that Corben buys his lunch off of. I could totally see this Richshaw wizzing around in that movie! I like the engine treatment too! (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Good idea! The rickshaw is a neat little craft, tho I keep on seeing it being used as a REALLY fast rickshaw...dunno if I would want to ride it. There's some nice detail work on the engine (that gear really looks cool) and the driver's (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

This is great! It has so much detail packed into a little MOC. Great colors as well. I wish there were more dark red pieces. Well done. Makes me hungry for sesame chicken. yummm Mark M. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) This reminded me of the Junk from 5th Element too. I want to go to Future China Town. Mark M. (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

That's a really great line of vehicles. It's nice to see another added to it. It looks good with the driver to the side. I hope we'll get to see even more in this series. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)
