There is no galactic rule that will limit ship size or crew size, but local
sector mediators may have their own house rules depending on the adventure
they have in mind. For example, in the current Starship game there is a
crew size limit of 15 per player. Another example, in the first adventure I
plan to offer, Derelict, I plan to use the same limit. Other mediators may
choose to vary things though, so maybe some sectors will allow much larger
crews, or some might only allow small landing parties. Presumably, when a
mediator is ready to open an adventure in their sector, they will send an
in-character transmission on open frequencies to invite people in. Such an
invite would let you know what your limits are, and hopefully also give you
a little time to come up with a Lego MOC to suit.
As for not having pics, I'm not certain how to handle that. My impression
of this kind of game is that each player should have online pics available
to show what their ship looks like. Maybe the mediators will collectively
allow exceptions though. We'll have to discuss that. ...The important
thing (IMO) is that you do build a Lego MOC (or more than one) in relation
to the game. If you do, and your lack of pics is due to a technical issue
(like not having a scanner or digital camera), then hopefully we can work
something out.
