I'm back with Pod(s)! —Chris Maddison
Wow, lots been going on lately, and I'm missing most of it. Still digging thru NWBrickCon pics and ogling Jeremy's Bug Bot Pod (thanks for the nod, bro! That's a sweet critter!) So, in order to get back into the swing of things, I'll debut a pod (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space) !

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Jonathan Mizner
(...) Dang man. Dang! The color..perfect symmetry... I especially like the fact that both pilot pods work very well as a normal pod. The use of 1x2 handlebar tiles is very nice, especially the landing gear. I've never seen someone make horizontal (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Chris Maddison
(...) Thanks Jonathan. I wanted to do something multi-part, with each part looking good independantly. So I built the pods first, and the bomb magazine after the fact. Then it was just a matter of getting them to look good together. And, (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Gil Shaw
Hey! I thought we might have to call out the pod search and rescue for Mr. Maddison! Amazing return to the fray Chris....so much packed into such a little package. The shared bomb magazine is really a thing of beauty. How do the pods hook up? Is it (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Chris Maddison
(...) Thanks Gil. The pods do hook together w/ the angle brackets, yep. And getting bay doors that looked good on the center section was quite a challenge. Glad you like it. -Chris (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Sean Devolites
(...) Great Job Chris! It looks cool and the colors are good. The fact it can split in two is also cool (I've been using that word to much lately). Keep up the good work! Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Chris Maddison
(...) Thanks Sean. I hadn't done a red & grey craft yet (ever), so I figured it was about time. -Chris (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Adrian Drake
(...) Ahem... Neener neener neener! One of these days you'll beat me to the punch *hehe* (...) <snip> Now ain't that a cutie. The pod concept just keeps evolving into different shapes. Every time I think it's dead, someone comes up with another (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Chris Maddison
In lugnet.space, Adrian Drake babbles: (...) I know you are but what am I? :-P (...) Thanks man. It is really impressive to see this simple little concept started by the great PodMaster Gil, with one little pod, blossom and grow into this. Lots of (...)         Re: I'm back with Pod(s)! —Andrew Martin
That's really cool. I like the colors and the landing gear. I made a dualpod this weekend, but it turned out pretty differently. Hopefully I'll have pictures of it on Thursday. It's pretty clunky, though. Yours is very elegant. (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)
