Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Pat Justison
I uploaded some pictures that I'm using for a new blacktron website. Just a sampling of some of the stuff that will be on the site. There is a Blacktron APC, as well as the big lander which is done on the outside. A supply truck with ejection chair (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.space) !

(...) Lindsay (...) Very, very cool. What more can I say? Can't wait to see more pics of the lander. ~Mark (24 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Quick and dirty? Not by my standards. I like your chair better than mine--it will take a fig with a jetpack, and it looks much more "Blacktron" besides (with its angularity). The lander looks magnificent as always (is it still undergoing (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Patrick Justison
The lander is done on the outside. I'll finish detailing the interior before I take pictures of it. I will also finish my Message Relay Base before taking pics of that. I'll post the web page when all of the models have been documented. So it may be (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Jason Ellis
Just the other day I was wondering what ever happened to that lander that we'd seen pictures of the cockpit, and then viola here's a post to answer my wonderings. I like the way it turned out. Its pretty cool. Keep up the good work. Jason (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Pat, Excellent, excellent models. You really captured the Blacktron look and feel with these models, and they are really outstanding. I had a question in regards to the APC. How did you do the steering for the APC? Did you have to sacrifice some (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Patrick Justison
I used the technic steering assembly found an many cheaper Technic models. It did take up a good sized chunk of floor space, but it looks cool as a sterring assenbly and drive unit. The APC can fit 5 minifigs plus the driver (6 in the back if they (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) I agree. It looks vaguely animal-like, but I can't seem to place what animal it looks like :) (Anteater, maybe???) --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Patrick Justison
An anteater because of the snout like front. My early gestural drawings of the ship made it look like a rhino. Which it still kinda does, but the cockpit makes it look like some kind of freaky alien rhino thing. Maybe it is like some sort of (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Andrew Todd Amacher
(...) Kick@$$ dropship, Pat. I see you finally found an application for that cockpit that you've been working on for the past 2 months. Also, sweet use of those Aquazone control tiles- they fit perfectly in the Blacktron color scheme. I can't wait (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Patrick Justison
Those control tiles also come in blacktron sets. I wanted to stay faithful to the original Blacktron series by only using parts from those sets. There are a few exceptions though (for example the yellow 4x4 rounds usedin the engines of te lander). (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sneak peek of my Blacktron site —Jon Palmer
(...) Well I've been gone for a while. Looks really cool Pat. I really like how you have added a such an amount of millitary realism to this theme. Blacktron is perfect for it. Keep up the good work and more pictures! Jon. (24 years ago, 11-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)
