OooOOo, I missed this one.  That looks awesome - this pod is awesome.  As I
stated in another post, I don't really like the look of "thicker" pods, but
this one's so thick that it's just great.  The window piece and the arms are
my fave features - very movie accurate.  Great job.

(...) that is the coolest snip!:) (...) Thanks! I knew I bent the rules on the pod thing, but the 2001 pod didn't fit the Lego pod protocol anyways. As for the window..I just happened to be thinking about building the pod, and I was going through my (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Hi all, After 3 freelance jobs, one sci-fi convention, and a boatload of stuff that just took up my time, I built my pod. Not just any pod, mind you, but a pod from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The arms move, and the back opens up. Also, the rear hatch (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.announce.moc) !!
