Inspired by Jon Palmer's m-wing, I decided to do something similar with a
few of those stubby bionicle legs.  The Megaera is the result.  It's on the
space page.  Enjoy!

Very cool!  The Bionicle parts give a nice texture and unique details to the
ship.    The landing gear is a bit odd at first, but it works.  The muted color
scheme is great too.

Not every ship has to be grey on grey or some primary color, does it?  After
doing two models in the brown/tan/dark grey color scheme, it's really
starting to grow on me.

As for the landing gear, yeah it does look a little strange, but then if you
think about where this ship is deployed (in and around mountain ranges)
having burly landing gear would be an asset.  Besides, how else are you
supposed to use those backpack pieces?
