I know that everyone in this message board and all lego collectors born • before

Yes, that would be wonderful, except that The Lego Company would get sued
completely out of bussiness for breach of contract with Lucas Films, because
they have already promised not to produce any other new futuristic space
themes while they hold a licence for Star Wars, and the contract for the
licencing is gonna last at least 6 years.

Dream on, but don't you do anything to mess up my supply of Lego.

Actually, that rumor was discounted some months ago.  They don't
produce any other Space products because the SW line is big enough and
there isn't a need in the market for it.

And second - I would think that an idea like that [chain letter] would
come from someone born *after* 1987.  I know for one, I would delete
any such letter entering my box and probably severely flame the
sender.  Such emails are a drain to net resources and a waste of
internet users time - aka SPAM.

Learn something new every day. I had not heard that the only reason that they
are not making other "new" space themes is that SW can hold it's own, (thank
you very much), and not some licencing deal. Thanks for clarifying that for me
Tim.
And hey, if they, (TLC,)  aren't locked in to a marketing deal, do what ever
you want, it's your time and money.
