Actually, I wonder if Lego are unable to make crater plates anymore, and
that's why they offered us the Battrax instead of a base...

Gee I hope not! They were in light blue in Aquazone sets as recently as
what, 3-4 years ago? It's a vacuum form mold so shouldn't wear out all that
fast I wouldn't think.
