The top halves make great spacey monorail stanchions as well- just top off
with a pair of black 2x4 bricks and a 2x2x2 landing gear piece. That adds
up to exactly 10 bricks high, which matches the regular stanchions.
$2 per stanchion is pretty darn expensive, though. And the original retail
price was more like $4.
