Swordfish II Monoracer from Bebop —Joel Kuester
Heyas, thought some of the other anime fans (as well as any .spacers) would enjoy this one: (URL) much to say, I'm hoping the pictures explain the features. I have been sick with a most heinous version of the flu the last few days, so I mostly just (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

OoooOooOoooh. That is cool. Very cool. The little bubble cockpit and the way it opens up rox dood. I've only seen Cowboy Bebop twice, but I recognize the ship, and it looks like a very nice lego-ification. Does the bubble rotate around? If it does, (...)          Re: Swordfish II Monoracer from Bebop —Joel Kuester
(...) thanks, I think that is one of the reasons the ship is so cool is that it is very recognizable. Bebop is good for unique takes on the conventions. (...) I have never noticed it rotating in the show, I am pretty sure it wasn't designed to. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Swordfish II Monoracer from Bebop —Joel Kuester
(...) thanks! nope, I haven't figured out a way to make the wings fold up, but I am working on it! The main problem is that they both fold in slightly different directions at odd angles, and the wings of this model are only 4 plates thick, so making (...)      (...) yeah, its really odd... I was walking by a tent the other day and a big mushroom was sitting neatly on a plate in the middle of a table. Naturally I had to try a bite of it... 'hic!' Joel K (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Swordfish II Monoracer from Bebop —Carey Snyder
Wow, that just made my day, excellent work! It just needs a a Spike minifig now. Any other Bebop ships planned? If somebody's got the right peices, the Outlaw Star might be a nice project for some brave soul... (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

Wow Joel! I haven't posted in LUGNET for nearly 6 months now. But a model like this would cause even the most reluctant of us to delurk. Very impressive effort, and a great subject! Any ideas about tackling Fey's ship or the Hammerhead? (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Swordfish II Monoracer from Bebop —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Excellent, excellent work, Joel--I think the pod design is the most inventive thing I've seen in a long time. I'm not a fan of CB, but that's a splendid ship. I especially like the care you've put into limiting slope-pixellation--I can just (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.space)
