HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

Hi! Someone had to be a snarky goofball about the contest, and since nobody else has done it, I guess it falls to me. It's all the better because this is such an Obviously Winning Entry(tm). Therefore I hereby submit, for your approval, the Zeno (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) While mildly entertaining, I find the hole subject quite draining. If this is what space models are coming to, I might just pull the plug on this group. ;-) I wonder what will come out of the pipe next... (in all sincerity, very cool and very (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) I felt my heart sink when I saw this. I didn't want to pipe up and say anything because I knew it was a grate model. You've tapped into the soul of us all with this one! Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) This creation brings tears to my eyes. I think I can rinse my entry right down the drain after seeing this. It's a shame to think that all the time and effort I spent working up a lather during the creative proccesses will likely end up as (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

Now that is the funniest thing I have seen in a while. Reminds me of all the cartoons that used to show bathtubs in place of a trunk on limos. The funniest part is that is a completly practical space design. -Mike Petrucelli. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) Nice, it sports room for three, I assume? Rubba-dub-dub! I might have to plunge my way back into this draining contest. Do you have soap in your ears? I said your entry's all washed up.... Okay, I'm not used to that many puns in a row...I need (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.pun)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

I realize that this comment may be blasphemy, but... What happens if a Zeno Hover Tub has an accident with T.R. Sammis' Flying Carpet? Will the carpet fly completely waterlogged? Is the tub as efficient with all the water soaked into a carpet? Hmm, (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) funniest (...) Lol. I guess the same place air in space is. :-P -Mike Petrucelli (Yes I did read the *wings* thread) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) No, no, no, you two don't understand at *all*. The wings double as the shower head which is part of the "washing subsystem" and also the engine. The shower is part of the gun-engine-wing and I have nearly 63 weapons on it. (in good fun) LFB (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)
