Hi Richie, the shadow effect is actually kind of easy to do. The trick is, once you have the subject selected, copy then select inverse, and fill with 100% opacity. I really like it. The five engine/wing is blended nicely into the design. I also like the fact that the wings aren't all the same, which gives a bit of assymetry to the symmetric design. :) (16 years ago, 5-Nov-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

The Cormorant debuted at BrickCon 08, but it's history goes back 9 years to a post-Mindfest build inspired by my haul from that event. I ended up with a bunch of wings with no matching pairs, so I built a ship to use them. (URL) The first draft> (...)
